Is Nabah free?
Yes, fully, and it always will be. There's no subscription, no in-app purchases, and no ads. Every feature, Qur'an, prayer times, duas, Tasbeeh, Adhkar, and the Sunnah Compendium, is available from the first open. Nabah isn't a business; it's built and maintained with love for the Ummah, as a personal act of service, not something meant to be monetized.
Is Hajj and Umrah support available yet?
Not yet, it's next on the roadmap: rite-by-rite dhikr for Tawaf, Sa'i, and Arafah, plus a clear checklist of what Ihram and the days ahead require. Follow the landing page or check back for when it ships.
Nabah asked for my location. Do I have to allow it?
No. Location is only used to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction for exactly where you are. If you decline or later revoke it in your device settings, Nabah falls back to Makkah times, clearly labelled as such, so the app still works.
Does the adhan play when my phone is locked or Nabah is closed?
Prayer reminder notifications are delivered on schedule whether the app is open or not. The full audio adhan call currently plays reliably while Nabah is open in the foreground; playback while the screen is locked or the app is fully closed is a known limitation we're working on. You can preview and choose your muezzin, and toggle each prayer's adhan on or off, from Settings.
How do I change my prayer calculation method or Asr school?
Open Settings from the avatar on Home, then Prayer Preferences. You can set your calculation method by region and switch between the Standard and Hanafi Asr schools at any time; prayer times recalculate immediately.
Can I use Nabah without an internet connection?
Mostly, yes. The Qur'an, Duas, Adhkar, and the Sunnah Compendium are cached for offline reading, and the last successfully fetched prayer times are cached too. Verse-by-verse audio recitation and the "Feelings → Ayah" reflection need a connection, since they're fetched or generated on demand.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open Settings and choose Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, location, preferences, and bookmarks from our database and cannot be undone. If you'd rather not use the app to do it, email us at the address below and we'll handle it for you.
